Old Millhillians Resolution to the RFU AGM
Among the meeting’s special resolutions was a motion proposed by Old Millhillians RFC for a reduction from 70 to 60 of the number of clubs a Constituent Body must have to become entitled to a second representative on the RFU Council.
Andy Mortimer (Old Millhillians) spoke in favour with support from Peter Grace (North Midlands), John Vale (Surrey) and Rob Udwin (Middlesex), while Malcolm Ross (Leicestershire) and John Spencer (Yorkshire) spoke against.
The resolution was carried with the necessary two-thirds majority by 247 votes to 113.
