FESTIVAL OF SEVENS AT HARPENDEN The Marauders defend their title at what promises to be another thrilling Cross Keys National Pub Sevens tournament at Harpenden next month.The 42nd annual festival taking place on Sunday, September 2 is one of the key dates in the rugby calendar, when leading sides like St George’s, Samurai and the Army will all be on show.
More than 30 pub and club teams from throughout the country are already taking part in a two tier competition split into senior and junior events designed to accommodate any skill level.
The action runs from 11am to 7pm at Redbourn Lane, Harpenden, Herts AL5 2BA and spectator entry costs £4 for adults (under-16s free) with bars, a barbecue and a hog roast.Entry for teams costs £60 for a squad of 10 and for more details and entry forms visit www.hrfc.com
