Old Isleworthians v Old Tottonians to be played April 5th
As England play Ireland that day at 3pm I suggest a 1pm Ko unless both sides agree otherwise
I am aware that Old Tottonians have are-arranged league fixture that day so their semi-final will go over to Saturday April 5th unless both Clubs would rather play over the Easter weekend.
The 1st named side is at home
The home draw for the final will be made after the 2nd semi-final is played.
Players are not required to be registered but must be Club members.
Middx Cup rules apply in relation to substitutes (5), extra time, front row replacements etc.. No match cards are required.
It is the responsibility of the home side to arrange the referee.
The final will be played on Saturday 19th April Ko 3pm
Please can results be phoned or e-mailed to me by 9pm on Sunday after their respective matches .

The result of the final of the Middx Federation Vase played at hendon RFC on Saturday 19th April was as follows
Hendon 17-6 Old Isleworthians
A very competitve game played in good spirit in blustery cold conditions won by the home team who scored both the tries in the match and were deserved winners.
Thanks to David Gershlick and Hendon RFC for their excellent hospitality/organisation of the day and to Andrew Mortimer, Middx CRFU President for doing the presentations
A sixth venue and a sixth different name on the trophy has helped to make this competitition a real success

MIDDLESEX FEDERATION VASE FINAL SATURDAY 19TH APRIL 2008
Hendon RFC 17 pts Old Isleworthians 6pts
Hendon at home in front of a large crowd won the Middlesex Federation Vase Final in their third attempt, previously losing away to Old Isleworthians and Old Abbotstonians. Hendon won this sixth final of the Vase in the first half with only three points being scored after the interval, to give them their victory in their Club’s 75th Anniversary Season.
Hendon, playing upfield on the Copthall slope, were awarded a penalty try in the tenth minute as No.7 Jamie Connolly going for a try was tackled off the ball; Ben Linale converted for a 7 – 0 lead. Shortly after, a turnover in the maul by No. 6 Luke McEnemy saw Hendon’s full back J.P.Gremin slice through the centre with the last pass going to hooker Chris Towndrow to score a Linale converted try. 14 – 0.
Isleworthians responded, Hendon were caught offside and No 10 Russell Peatie clotted over for 3 points – (14 – 3). Just before half-time Hendon pushed upfield for Isleworthians to concede a penalty and Linale kicked for a 17 – 3 lead.
Into the second half it was Peatie again to score for Isleworthians for 3 points (17 – 6) but neither side were able to score again as Hendon lost their momentum through replacements to injured players and Isleworthians upped the tempo but Hendon defended all the pressure to finish worthy Champions.
Andy Mortimer, Middlesex President accompanied by Andrew Smart, Federation Vase organiser, presented the Vase to Hendon and Middlesex shields to both Clubs.
