Where did all that fine weather and good rugby come from yesterday?
Thanks to everyone who played their part in making the two events at Enfield Ignatians and Harpenden into great feasts of rugby for all those concerned, especially John Hills and Mickey Collins. It really was well organised by the two clubs, and my reading was that all the players and the referees thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon. I would also like to express my thanks to Foggy and Bryony for their co-ordination role at Harpenden, Brian East, Hon Secretary of Middlesex RFU and John Gregory, Treasurer Hertfordshire RFU, who watched all the games and presented the awards and finally the two Referees Societies.
I have updated the finals information on the overall game schedule, which is attached, and now details all the winners.
The same event is already in the planning stage for 2009, but before that there will be another season of matches in the Merit Tables for everyone to play.
Finally, if anyone has any good photographs from either of the two events, but especially at Harpenden, then I would appreciate copies for the end of season write-up for the Counties.
