Girls from four clubs have played for the County this season in games against Essex, Sussex and Berkshire and a number have been nominated at both age groups for Divisional trials.

Middlesex clubs offering girl's rugby

girls

Girls aged Under 12 can participate in mixed mini rugby at the majority of rugby clubs across the county who will welcome girls into the club.

At U15 and U18 players from a cluster of clubs combine to play competitive matches in the Thames Valley League under the name of Middlesex Leopards. As girls rugby gains popularity, the goal is for more and more clubs to be able to field their own teams at this age group.

The following Middlesex clubs have girl's rugby sections:

U15s - Hackney Belles

Hackney Belles are the success story of the 2010/2011 season having being formed in September 2010. They have enough players at U15’s to play matches but unfortunately formed too late to enter a league this season and are currently playing friendlies
